Yes. STI Ideal supplies 40/2 polyester sewing machine thread online, an all-purpose weight that runs on both domestic and industrial machines. It suits garment construction, alterations, quilting and general craft sewing. As with any thread, match your needle size and machine tension to the fabric you are working with.

Every spool holds 400 yards of thread, which is about 366 metres. A full box of 10 spools therefore carries roughly 4,000 yards.
